Self-Esteem

The term self-esteem is used to describe a person’s overall sense of self-worth and value. Most people’s feelings about themselves change somewhat based on mood and daily life. Your self-esteem, however, is more fixed than the normal ups and downs. Low self-esteem can negatively affect your life and manifest itself in many different ways.  Individuals with poor self-esteem are extremely critical of themselves and may be perfectionists, hypersensitive, jealous, defensive, withdrawn, hostile or clingy. They often have trouble making decisions and care excessively about pleasing others. I can help you develop tools to boost your self-esteem and inner confidence.
